Bonnie has over 25 years experience working in the nexus between agriculture, nutrition and food security. She currently Directs EatSafe, a flagship initiative at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition that focuses on the safety of nutritious foods with a focus on informal markets and nutritionally vulnerable consumers.
Bonnie is the architect of GAIN's Marketplace for Nutritious Foods, the Postharvest Loss Alliance for Nutrition, and the Commercialization of Biofortified crops. Her work takes place in Africa and Asia.
Bonnie has extensive technical experience and has been instrumental in raising over $15 million annual program budget to build market-based opportunities for nutritious foods as well as conduct research that develops the evidence base testing consumers ability to demand and shape markets for safe foods.
