About this speaker

Dr. Renu Garg is a public health leader with over three decades of experience in supporting governments implement public health programmes in low- and middle-income countries. She has technical expertise in a number of areas including COVID-19 response; epidemic preparedness and control; noncommunicable diseases; HIV/AIDS; tuberculosis; maternal and child health and nutrition. Dr Garg is currently with WHO Thailand where she works with multisectoral partners to scale-up interventions to reduce NCDs. She is a medical doctor with specialization in public health and epidemiology and was trained in India and USA.
